SIGMAA on RUME Mentoring Committee Report, January 17, 2003

Committee Members: Barbara Edwards (Chair), Karen Marrongell, Manya Raman, Gideon Weinstein.

In 2000, nine awards were made for a total of $15,310. Of that amount, $12,290.92 was spent and $3036.08 remains.

In 2001, five awards were made for a total of $12,000. Of that amount, $7,934.91 was spend and $4,065.09 remains. Two of the five awardees have asked for extentions to spend the remainder of those grants. If all money is used, there will still be $2,357.09 remaining.

In 2002, two awards were made for a total of $5,350. None of that money has been spent. (A total of four proposals were considered in 2002.)
