A minimum weight vector in the Golay code determines a partition of the code's coordinates into 3 parts of size 8. The split weight of a codeword is the triple that gives the number of 1's in each part of the partition. The split weight enumerator is a tally of the number of codeswords which have each of the possible triples of split weights.
