Guidelines for proposals for SIGMAA on RUME 2017 Conference
We will use Microsoft Conference Management System to solicit proposals.

The following weblink will take you there:

https://cmt3.research.microsoft.com/RUME2017

All proposals must be submitted through the MCM system. Papers that are not submitted through the Microsoft submission system will not be considered for review. All proposals require an abstract and paper, do not just submit an abstract, your proposal will be rejected. Please make sure to upload your paper to MCMS before clicking 'submit.'

Proposal and Paper Preparation Guidelines (for a Blind Report Template click here) Papers that do not follow the Paper Preparation Guidelines will be returned to the author. All papers should formatted as follows:

  • Times New Roman
  • 12-point font
  • 1-inch margins
  • Single-spaced
  • No header or footer
  • No page numbers (they look silly in the proceedings)
  • Please submit all files saved in .pdf format (the system won't let you do anything else)
  • No attachements are allowed

Title case:
For 2017 and beyond will be APA title case. For example:

Primary and Secondary areas: You will be asked to provide a primary and secondary area that describe your paper. When appropriate, your area list should include descriptors of the mathematical focus, theoretical perspective, and/or methodology. For example, areas to describe a design experiment in abstract algebra might include: Abstract Algebra, Design Experiment.

There are three files that you should download to help in preparing and submitting your paper:
