The SIGMAA on RUME 2017 will be held at the Kona Kai Resort & Spa in sunny San Diego.
Unfortunately the conference hotel is sold out. There may be some cancelations so before booking at one of the alternate hotels please check at the conference hotel. The alternate hotels are:
You can now make your hotel accommodation for the SIGMAA on RUME 2017 at the discounted rate by using the following link. SIGMAA on RUME 2017 attendees should book their hotel rooms through this direct link, and not the hotel's general website, in order to secure the conference's discounted rates.
Those who prefer to book their reservation by phone may call (1-800-566-2524) and identify themselves as being a part of "SIGMAA on RUME 2017" .
Special room rates for the conferences are $175 single/double plus 12.58% tax and must be reserved by February 1, 2017 in order to receive the discounted group rate.

If you are planning on, or thinking about, bringing children to RUME this year and are interested in working with other parents to make child care arrangements (e.g., time swaps or trying to find a local babysitter or daycare provider) please contact Estrella Johnson (strej@vt.edu). She will collect the names of interested parents and, depending on demand, we can see what options are avialable.
