Unfortunately the conference hotel is sold out. There may be some cancellations so before booking at one of the alternate hotels please check at the conference hotel. The alternate hotels are:

• Best Western Island Palms Marina ( www.islandpalms.com)
• Bay Club Hotel and Marina (www.bayclubhotel.com)
• Humphreys Half Moon Inn (www.halfmooninn.com)

We do not have any special rate with them but the cost is about the same as the special rate at the Kona Kai.

The SIGMAA on RUME 2018 will be held at the Kona Kai Resort & Spa in sunny San Diego.

Reservations

You can now make your hotel accommodation for the SIGMAA on RUME 2018 at the discounted rate by using the following link. SIGMAA on RUME 2018 attendees should book their hotel rooms through this direct link, and not the hotel's general website, in order to secure the conference's discounted rates.

Those who prefer to book their reservation by phone may call (1-800-566-2524) and identify themselves as being a part of "SIGMAA on RUME 2018" .

Special room rates for the conferences are $175 single/double plus 12.58% tax and must be reserved by February 7, 2018 in order to receive the discounted group rate.

There are many advantages for those who book at the MAA group rates:

• Convenient access to all onsite conference events and sessions
• Complimentary WiFi included in guest rooms and meeting spaces
• Complimentary access to fitness center
• $18 resort fee waived

Child Care

The Committee for Families Attending RUME Together is working to identify ways to make RUME more supportive for parents and children. For instance, for RUME 2018 we have identified transportation options that caregivers can use for family excursions (including the zoo). We are also working on generating a list of potential babysitters. We are not currently able to provide child care, but we are trying to ease the burden for caregivers.
